The Minister for Presidential Affairs and Public Administration, Mr Mokgweetsi Masisi has told Parliament that there are at least 22.4 million websites on politics and government of Botswana.

He said it was difficult to know which websites had names of ministers who had long passed on and some who were no longer ministers. He added that some websites had out of date information.

Minister Masisi, however, confirmed that the official website of the government, www.gov.bw  was updated daily and did not list the names of any past ministers.

The MP for Palapye, Mr Moiseraele Goya had asked the minister to state how often the information on the website on politics and government of Botswana was updated.

He also asked him if he was aware that the website still had names of ministers who had long passed on and some that were no longer ministers and also to state what he was doing about it. ENDS
