Ministry plans to build classrooms
03 Dec 2014
Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development is aware of the shortage of classrooms for Standard One and Two classes at Tsholofelo Primary School in the Gaborone North constituency; hence classrooms are shared, says assistant minister Ms Botlogile Tshireletso.
Answering a question in Parliament, Ms Tshireletso said in order to address the shortage of classrooms, her ministry had planned to construct three classrooms at Tsholofelo Primary School under the Backlog Eradication Project subject to the availability of funds in the next financial year.
MP for Gaborone North Mr Haskins Nkaigwa had asked the minister if she was aware that Standard One and Two pupils at Tsholofelo Primary School were sharing classes and if so what plans were in place to address the challenge. ENDS
