Dow refers MPs to 2009-2022 strategy

The Assistant Minister of Education and Skills Development, Dr Unity Dow has told Parliament that the Human Resource Development Council Act of 2013 was passed by Parliament; hence the Human Resource Development Strategy of 2009-2022 is available for members to refer to.
Dr Dow said, according to standing orders of the National Assembly of Botswana, No. 38.1 , a question shall not be asked seeking information which can be found in accessible documents or ordinary works of reference and which is readily available in official publications
MP for Gaborone Central Mr Phenyo Butale had asked the minister how the Human Resource Development Council would address the issue of skills mismatch that has been identified as a major problem in Botswana’s educational system. ENDS
