The Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC) does not plan to move its Mochudi revenue office to the Mochudi main branch of BotswanaPost. Responding to a question in Parliament on Monday, Minister of Transport and Communications, Mr Nonofho Molefhi said BTC revenue office was relocated to BTC premises which were in the vicinity of Botswana Post.

Minister Molefhi was responding to a question from Kgatleng East Member of Parliament Mr Isaac Mabiletsa. MP Mabiletsa had asked the minister whether it was true that BTC planned to shut down its only revenue office in Mochudi and transfer its services to the Mochudi main branch of BotswanaPost. He also asked the minister if he was aware that the main branch of BotswanaPost was too old and heavily congested as it was also used as a pay point for old age pension. MP Mabiletsa also wanted to know if the minister would consider building a proper revenue office for BTC in Mochudi. ENDS
