OP rewards companies

The Office of the President has awarded certificates to Botswana Agricultural Marketing Board (BAMB) and Batho Botlhe Milling Company in recognition of their contribution towards developing Batswana.
The two companies were given 295 bags of maize and nine bags of sorghum to grind by the Office of the President for distribution to Batswana countrywide. The grinded maize and sorghum produced a total of 2 100 bags of maize meal, maize rice and samp.
The 50kg bags of maize and sorghum were donated by Kanngwe farmers from Pitsane. For his part, the Senior Private Secretary to the President, Brigadier George Tlhalerwa expressed his gratitude to the two companies for the good work they have done for Batswana.
He said what the two companies did was what they would want to see growing in Botswana. He further encouraged them to continue with the good job of making a contribution to the developmenet of the country.
For his part, chief executive officer of BAMB Mr Edison Wotho said he was very thankful for the Office of the President for the reward as it encourages them. “This calling by the Office of the President really encourages us to continue helping Batswana,” he said.
He said no Motswana should be left living under abject poverty whilst there are some people who can assist. Mr Wotho thanked farmers for the contribution and urged them to continue doing the good job.
Meanwhile, the director of Batho Botlhe Milling Company, Mr Motswasele Kganetso thanked the Office of the President for honouring them. He further promised to continue giving to Batswana, adding that the contribution was in line with the pillar of being a compassionate, just and caring nation.
Mr Kganetso stated that Batswana need such a good spirit of extending a helping hand to one another. ENDS
