Parliament suspends selection of committees

Parliament has suspended the selection of standing committees and sessional select committees.
The selection should be done within three days after the commencement of a session, as per Standing Order 99.1.
The suspension that was moved by the Vice President, Mr Mokgweetsi Masisi as per standing order 130.1, was meant to give the committee of selection time to appoint members to the various parliamentary committees. ENDS
