Commitment descipline important in education

A nurse at Bokspits clinic in Kgalagadi District, Mr Cornelius Gaeboeletswe encouraged standard seven pupils at Vallhoek Primary School to aim high in their academic journey.
Speaking at the school’s prize giving and farewell ceremony recently, Mr Gaeboeletswe said aiming high would motivate them to target the best.
He said discipline and commitment in education were embodiment of success in any given endeavor, while encouraging them to be examplery wherever they would be going.
Mr Gaeboeletswe said they should be prepared for the next stage of their lives more so that they would be parting ways with their parents and current teachers.
He encouraged them to stay away from drugs and alcohol, and always seek guidance whenever in temptation. For his part the principal education officer, Mr Abram Molelowamodimo encouraged the students to continue to be focused in their academic journey and always remember their roots.
He commended Vaalhoek primary school for the previous good performance and said he expected more good things to come.
Another speaker Ms Sophie Bock appealed to the students to shun alcohol and drugs, noting that she was expecting them to come back and develop their village after their achievements in life. The headmaster for Vaalhoek Primary School Ms Nametso Gaelebale encouraged primary school leaving pupils and other students at large to take their studies seriously.
She said she had faith in her students, that they would make the school proud and wished them a good and fruitful academic journey.
For his part the principal education officer Mr Abram Molelowamodimo said Vaalhoek primary school was one of the schools in the Kgalagadi region which was improving and encouraged the school management to strive for more good results.
Motivational speaker for the day Ms Sophie Bock told students not to indulge in alcohol or any other drugs. She said education was pillar of success in any endeavor. ENDS
