Rollers thrash Motlakase

Motlakase Power Dynamos have a mountain to climb after they lost the Mascom Top 8 quarterfinal, first leg encounter against Township Rollers in their home ground.
The Palapye-based club suffered a 3-1 defeat to the Gaborone giants at Serowe Sports complex on Friday night (October 31)
The entire game saw the visiting side make numerous attacks but only three were converted into goals, while the hosts’ attacks were few. The only goal of the first half was scored by left back Otlantshekela Mooketsi who put Township Rollers in the lead.
After recess, Motlakase's substitute, Lapologang Motlogi headed home the equaliser, but Kobamelo Kebaikanye who played well on the flanks restored Rollers lead after Motlakase defence failed to clear inside the box.
Later, the hosts were culprits of poor defending again as they failed to close down Kebaikanye inside the box, and he unleashed a shot to increase Rollers lead.
In a post-match interview, Township Rollers head coach, Madinda Ndlovu gave credit to his side saying they proved the mettle especially after some time without playing competitive football.
Ndlovu said their plan was to add numbers in attack which he said they executed well. However, he was worried that his team missed a lot of created chances. Motlakase coach Agang Mogotsi on the other hand blamed his team for failing to contain their opponents especially after equalising.
Nonethless, the Chouka-Chouka tactician believed his team was not a bad side. ENDS
