Environment conducive for international journalists

An international journalist covering the 11th general election, Mr Marco Longari of Agence France-Presse (AFP) has thanked the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) for enabling them to work freely in the run-up to the elections.
In an interview on the sidelines of the voting process at Makolojwane Polling Station in Serowe West constituency on October 24, Mr Longari, who is currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa, said the IEC availed everything they wanted thereby making their assignment easy.
He said they covered a number of political rallies and other events related to the elections. He said Batswana were also welcoming and made their assignment comfortable. ENDS
