Paps Holding Group, a citizen owned company with different company structures under its wings, has acquired Northern Panel Beaters.

That was in effort to reach its client, provide quality service and create more employment.

Although Northern Panel Beaters had been in existence for 26 years and was a leader in panel beating and spray painting in Francistown, its acquisition in 2011 brought about a change in management and operational efficiency, hence the company was now trading as Northern Auto Service Centre (NASC).

Furthermore, the company added a servicing aspect to become a fully-fledged auto service centre, doing both general vehicle repairs and preventative maintenance.

NASC is a class 2 Central Transport Organisation accredited garage and has recently undergone refurbishment to become a world class service centre boasting of a 200sqm office block, 900sqm servicing workshop and 400sqm panel beating warehouse with a state of the art spray booth with oven capabilities.

In an interview, the company marketing officer, Ms Oratile Mudala said the core services of NASC were to cover the whole spectrum of the motor industry service value stream.

Ms Mudala said these include auto mechanics, auto body repairs, towing, roadside assistance and chassis straightening.

She added that they also had a fully equipped workshop, manned with a fully committed workforce with the right credentials as they specialise in engine tune-ups, engine overhauls, brake repairs, gearbox repairs and suspensions.

She also said their 400sqm enclosed warehouse housed auto body works and has two chassis straightening support structures for vehicles involved in accidents.

Further, she indicated that they had two spray booths to meet the volumes passing through the workshop and a paint room capable of mixing paints to OEM’s specifications using computer generated mix ratios.

Again, she said they had two dedicated towing trucks as well as a small vehicle that offered roadside assistance to their clients during breakdowns.

Furthermore, she said their 24-hour towing service covered the whole of northern Botswana starting from Mahalapye, Selebi-Phikwe, Francistown, Masunga, Maun and Kasane. ENDS
