Ngurungu take on Magosi
28 Aug 2014
Botswana Premier League continues the week-end in different parts of the country.
Tonight, August 29, Notwane will take on BDF X1 at Molepolole Sports Complex, while Township Rollers will travel to Selebi Phikwe to face BR Highlanders. Both games start at 7 p.m..
Sparks are expected at Maun stadium, on August 30, when Sankonyo Bush Bucks face the high riding Mochudi Centre Chiefs. Chiefs will be beaming with confidence given that they are yet to lose a game in the premier league; therefore chances are that they would not let the rookies spoil their winning streak party.
Chiefs are perched at the top of the log with nine points from three games, however it is important for Chiefs not to undermine the Ngurungu more especially in their own turf, since the team has so far proved to be hungrier and they are not in the elite league just to honor the fixtures.
Ngurungu has so far played three games won and lost one. Still on Saturday, FC Satmos will host BMC at Selebi Phikwe Stadium. It will be an interesting encounter since the host will be fighting to improve their position in the log. FC Satmos are sitting on position 12, whereas BMC look comfortable for now on position two.
In Molepolole, Gaborone United will battle it out with Ecco City Greens, who have not been doing well in the league. The Francistown based team, is currently at the bottom of the league, and it remains to be seen if they would improve their standing after exodus of their players to other teams. ENDS
