First Division: Wonder take on Letlapeng

An explosive clash is on the cards as log leaders Wonder Sporting travel to Ramotswa to face Letlapeng at Siga ground on Saturday. In other Saturday matches, Young Strikers hosts Mochudi Buffaloes at Mogoditshane while Modipane United welcome Masitaoka in Modipane.

Sunday matches:

Kanye Swallows vs Black Peril (Swallows ground), Gabane United vs Killer Giants (Gabane), Gantsi Terrors vs Jwaneng Comets (Gantsi). All games are scheduled to kick-off at 4pm.

Women’s football:

In this weekend’s AT&T Monnakgotla Women’s Football League matches, second placed Township Rollers will be aiming to maintain the pressure when they clash with UF Santos at Boribamo grounds in Molepolole on Saturday.

Other Saturday matches are: Mogoditshane Fighters vs Untouchable (Fighters ground), South East Girls vs Big Sisters (Ramotswa), Real Touch vs Vicomates (CFC grounds).

On Sunday, log-leaders Double Action visit Eastern Pirates in Mochudi, Meat Girls vs Gaborone United (New Look ground), Prison vs Kanye Swallows (Prison), Lulu SC vs Manana (Bophirima ground). Matches kick-off at 3:30pm

BCF hold schools chess tournament qualifiers

The Botswana Chess Federation will stage the second qualifiers for schools senior individual chess championships on Saturday and Sunday. Qualifiers for schools in the north will be held in Mahalapye and in Lobatse for schools in the south.  The championships are sponsored by Morongwa. The finals will be played in Gaborone in April.ENDS
