BMC seeks ways to utilise Lobatse land

The Botswana Meat Commission has demolished staff houses that were old, agriculture assistant minister, Mr Oreeditse Molebatsi, has said.
Responding to a question in Parliament from Lobatse MP, Mr Nehemiah Modubule, Mr Molebatsi said the land on which the staff houses were demolished was being evaluated to assess its suitably for a number of property developments that would be of value to the commission.
“The commission would in the near future announce how they were going to utilise the said land,” he added.
Mr Modubule had asked the agriculture minister what the Botswana Meat Commission in Lobatse, intended to do regarding the staff houses that were demolished some years ago. ENDS
