The tournament, which was part of the Botswana Golf Association (BGA) calendar event brought together golfers from Zimbabwe, Zambia and from Jwaneng, Sowa town, Gaborone and Chobe locally.

In accepting his prize as the best in men’s category, Keabetswe said that he had worked hard in preparing for the tournament and had sworn to his colleagues that he would win the prize, which he did after playoffs to break a tie in the category.

The captain for Chobe Golf Club, Richard Strugneoo thanked Mowana Safari Lodge for hosting the tournament and availing a worthy golf course as it made them work harder. Meanwhile, the annual tournament ran from the 19th to the 20th July during the Presidents’ holidays. ENDS
