No slaughter house in Nata - Tshireletso

There is no slaughter house that was constructed in Nata in 2005, the Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso, has said.
Ms Tshireletso was responding to a question in Parliament from Francistown South MP, Mr Wynter Mmolotsi.
The Assistant Minister said in her response to Question 300 and 378 of March 15, 2010 and February 11, 2011 respectively, on the same matter, she stated that “the construction of a slaughter house in Nata was deferred due to budgetary constraints and the situation has still not changed.”
Mr Mmolotsi had asked Ms Tshireletso to brief the House on the status of the slaughter house in Nata, which he said was constructed in 2005. ENDS
