Financial constraints halt internal roads8232 project

The design for upgrading of Francistown internal roads and storm water drainage was done in 2009, the Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso, has said.
Due to financial constraints, Ms Tshireletso said the project could not be undertaken during NDP 10, adding that it would be considered amongst other competing priorities during the NDP11.
She was responding to a question in parliament from Francistown South MP, Mr Wynter Mmolotsi who had asked when the ministry will consider availing funds for the construction of internal roads and storm water drainage in Francistown. ENDS
