08 Jul 2014
Minister of Minerals, Energy and Water Resources, Mr Kitso Mokaila has told Parliament that he is aware of the congestion at the rented Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) building in Tutume.
He said due to the current financial limitations, BPC is not in a financial position to develop the plot it has been allocated and stated that the plot may be considered for development in the future when the corporation financial situation improves.
He was answering MP for Tonota North, Mr Fidelis Molao who wanted to know when the ministry will develop the long allocated BPC office plot in Tutume to facilitate the operational efficiency considering the current unbearable congestion experienced at the current rented office space. ENDS
