The Assistant Minister of Education and Skills Development,  Mr Keletso Rakhudu has told Parliament that four students in Francistown have been admitted in the Back-to-School programme since its inception in 2012.

Answering a question in Parliament, Mr Rakhudu said a 17-year-old was admitted at Moremogolo Primary School in 2013 but absconded from school.

He said another student enrolled for BGCSE through BOCODOL at Selepa Junior Secondary. The student, he said, registered in 2013 and added extra subject in 2014, and will sit for final examination at the end of the year.

Mr Rakhudu said two students were also admitted in form four in Francistown Senior Secondary School following discontinuation of their studies earlier.

The MP for Francistown South, Mr Wynter Mmolotsi had asked the Assistant Minister of Education and Skills Development to appraise parliament on the performance of the Back to School programme in Francistown. ENDS
