Reverend Khutsafalo Magosi, the newly inducted minister of the UCCSA in Ratholo, has been encouraged to serve God with love, diligence and dedication.
Rev Felicia Ramaribana, the minister of UCCSA Francistown, urged Rev Magosi to preach the word of God as plain and simple as it is. “Do not dilute the word or reduce it to a fallacy, but preach it with authority,” she said.
She also encouraged Rev Magosi to be dedicated, devoted and zealous and to give God her undivided loyalty all the time. She explained that preaching the word of God was not an option, but a duty that Rev Magosi had been called to do.
“Running a ministry is not an easy vocation. People will accuse you and oppose you, but you must stand firm in Christ. You must not to be comfortable if you do not face opposition from your congregation,” she said.
Rev Magosi was also asked to turn her challenges into opportunities, endure hardships and always preserve. “Do all your duties in the ministry to the best of your ability and always do everything as if you are doing it for the last time,” she said.
For her part, Rev Magosi said she was called to serve God and she had been doing that since 2004 when she was attached to Mookane congregation.
She also revealed that she met and worked with excellent people of God who nurtured and helped her along the way when she met challenges like inadequate facilities, lack of finances and lack of transport.
“I must thank the people of Mookane for making my ministry easier through their good parenting and Christianity. They opened their hearts to me and they were always there even during difficult times,” said Rev Magosi.
She added that she was later deployed to Ratholo where she served the congregation of Ratholo, Majwaneng and Goo-Tau. ENDS
