“The club has so far donated close to P1.5 million to various organisations across the country over the past years,” she revealed.

Receiving the Presidential Housing Appeal donation, Private Secretary to the President, Brigadier George Tlhalerwa thanked Eve’s club for their generous support .

Brigadier Tlhalerwa who is also a member of the President’s Housing Appeal Executive Committee expressed gratitude to the Eve’s club, especially that they are a team of women who are regarded as care givers, home builders and always passionate for making a difference in people’s lives.

He told club members that ever since its inception in 2008, the President’s Housing Appeal has built 382 houses where close to 2 600 people of average 7 household members are occupants of the houses.

For her part, Eve’s Club chairperson, Ms Manjeets Singh said it was a satisfying moment to see the results of funds being delivered where they are most needed.
