Majwe Mining Joint Venture recently donated office furniture to Jwaneng police.

The donation included 10 cupboards, 30 chairs and 20 tables.
 Speaking at the handover event, Majwe project manager, Mr Ian McRae explained that the company was committed to assisting in community development, thus donating office furniture was one way the company showed corporate social responsibility.

Divisional commander-southern, Mr Oreeditse Mautle appreciated the donation explaining that it would enhance and encourage the police service more in providing services to the community. He also said the donation came at the right time as they had been having shortage of office furniture.

Mr Mautle said the donation would not only benefit the Jwaneng police but would also be used around police posts under the Jwaneng police jurisdiction. Ends
