Three bronze medals for Taekwondo

Botswana's taekwondo fighters, Muhammed Desai and Thato Tau have claimed two bronze medals at the ongoing African Youth Games in Gaborone.
This was in addition to another bronze medal that Theo Koosenye won in previous encounters. Muhammed grabbed the bronze medal in the over 73 men category after losing to Evason Bofonda of Democratic Republic of Congo 0-7.
He shared the bronze medal with Mali’s Karamoko Soumare. The gold medal in this category went to Egyptian’s Yossef Medhat Khaliaf while the second place went to Evason.
Thato, who shared the bronze medal with Carlota Munave of Swaziland, lost to Abaihordjam Ngodo of Chad 2-7 in the over 63 category.
The gold medal in the category was scooped by Abaihordjam while the second spot went to Mame Dieng of Senegal. ends
