Construction of weighbridge deferred

Minister of Transport and Communications, Mr Nonofo Molefhi has told Parliament that construction of Pioneer Border Gate Weighbridge was deferred in 2007 to accommodate the design of the One Stop Border Post.
He said the construction was planned to commence after completion of the design of the one stop border post by BURS, which was ongoing and anticipated to be completed by December.
MP for Lobatse, Mr Nehemiah Modubule had asked the minister to state when the Pioneer Border Gate Weighbridge would be set up, given that it was long overdue. ENDS
