Electromagnetic pulse threat assessment not done

Parliament has been told that the Ministry of Defence, Justice and Security has not done any assessment on the potential threat posed by Electromagnetic Pulses on National Security.
Answering a question on February 19, Minister Dikgakgamatso Seretse said electronic pulses could cripple electronic systems and services such as water and electricity and other services dependent on electronic systems.
Gaborone West North MP, Mr Robert Masitara had asked the minister if he had done any assessment on the potential threat posed by Electromagnetic Pulses on National Security. ENDS
