AU subscription depends on agreed amount

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr Phandu Skelemani says Botswana’s membership subscription to the African Union depends on agreed amounts for any given period.
Mr Skelemani told Parliament on April 10 that as of 2013, Botswana’s subscription to AU was P10.3 million, saying the last payment was effected on May 20, 2013 and that there were no arrears.
He was responding to a question from Palapye MP, Mr Moiseraela Goya, who wanted to know how much Botswana paid as membership subscription to the UN per annum, and whether the country was in any arrears. ENDS
