The Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso says Hope Bromo Catering Holdings was awarded a tender amounting to P287 385 for catering services at Mphuthe hostel in Letlhakeng for the school term that started in January 2014.

She explained that the tendering process was followed through invitations for submissions which were placed on the notice board at Letlhakeng Sub-district council for the period July 11-19, 2013 for one school term, which was August to November 2013.

However, she said due to renovations that delayed the opening of the hostel, admissions were postponed to January 2014 when the company commenced catering.

The MP for Letlhakeng West, Mr Ngaka Ngaka had requested the minister to state the catering company that had been allocated to cater for Mphuthe hostel in Letlhakeng. Mr Ngaka also requested her to state whether the tendering process was properly followed and the companies which tendered and the amount tendered for. Ends
