The Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency (CEDA) will this year host the annual inter-banks games on April 25 – 26. 

The last time CEDA hosted the event aimed at supporting healthy living and sportsmanship among bank staff was in 2006, while Bank Gaborone hosted it last year.  

The event which started 10 years ago will have Barclays, Bank of Botswana, Standard Chartered, First National Bank, Botswana Savings Bank, Botswana Building Society, Banc ABC, Bank Gaborone, National Development Bank, Stanbic Bank, Capital Bank and CEDA.

The event will culminate with a beauty pageant scheduled for May 10. 

Speaking during the launch, CEDA chief operations officer, Lesego Selotate said this year they will take the event to greater heights. He said various sporting codes will form part of the activities. 

For her part, the chairperson of Inter-banks 2014, Keletso Odubeng thanked all the participating banks for their patronage and continued support. 

“Like we have done over the years, we will be able to conduct a smooth and memorable event that will be pleasant for everyone,” she said. She urged people to support the games because CEDA and the committees worked tirelessly to make the launch a success.   

The launch was a first for Inter-banks games and its sole idea was to engage other important key stakeholders such as the media and formally inform them of the upcoming event. Ends
