Poor workmanship delays Kutamogoree kgotla
03 Apr 2014
Parliament has been told that the expansion of Kutamogoree Kgotla office was planned to be completed during the 2013/14 financial year under the Ipelegeng Programme.
Responding to a parliamentary question, Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Peter Siele however said there were delays caused by lack of qualified builders in the village.
He said currently building materials have been ordered and bricks have already been delivered to the site, including a builder who has been identified and is on site.
The revised completion date of the project is April 30.
Nata/Gweta MP, Mr Rayner Makosha had asked the Minister to give update on the status of the expansion of Kutamogoree Kgotla office and reasons for the delay of this approved project. ENDS
