6 433 poverty projects operational

A total of 18 734 beneficiaries have been mobilised for enrolment in the Poverty Eradication Programme.
Minister for Presidential Affairs and Public Administration said in Parliament that to date, 8 721 projects had been completed out of which 6 433 were operational.
Mr Mokgweetsi Masisi said a total of 1 169 projects were considered to be excelling. Gaborone South MP, Mr Kagiso Molatlhegi had asked the minister to give update on progress made in the Poverty Eradication Programme. Ends
