Khama to officiate at World AIDS Day

President Lt Gen. Seretse Khama Ian Khama is expected to officiate at the World AIDS Commemoration Day in Ramotswa on Monday, November 2.
The coordinator of the South East District Multi Sectoral AIDS Committee (DAMSC), Ms Tuelo Chibana said in an interview that preparations for the day were going well.
She said several build up activities were held in places such as Mogobane, Otse, Otse Police College, Tlokweng and Ramotswa to hype the World AIDS day commemoration event. Ms Chibana said they had undertaken several initiatives to publicise the event and spread the message about the scourge.
The World AIDS Day is commemorated on December 1 every year to reflect on the achievements made against the disease as well as raise awareness about the pandemic. Ends
