Khama to chair 35th HLCC meeting

President Lt Gen. Seretse Khama Ian Khama will preside over the 35th meeting of the High Level Consultative Council (HLCC) on Thursday, November 28.
A news release from BGCIS said the HLCC would consider submissions from various sub-sectors, which meet quarterly within their line ministries. “It is within the sub-sectors that the primary work of the HLCC was actually carried out,” said the release.
Sub-sector meetings were chaired by the ministers responsible and they served as consultative fora for public and private sector members to address areas of domestic concern. If an issue was not resolved at sectoral level, it might be referred to the full HLCC for further consideration. ENDS
