Good service key in retaining customers- Billy

 Assistant Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Culture Development, Mr Buti Billy has emphasised the importance of good customer service.

Speaking official opening of Infinity Hair Saloon, Mr Billy good service helped to retain customers while bad service chased them.

He urged employees to think of performing more than the best as saloons were some of the paying business in the industry.

He saloon had filled the space left by closure of mines in Francistown by creating jobs and urged the 32 youth and 9 elders employed by the saloon to open their own businesses in order for them to employ and train others.

He urged them to be innovative, learn more new ideas and develop a culture of saving money to be used during tough times.

The assistant minister advised  unemployed youth not to shun jobs such as selling vegetables or airtime, saying money did not have identification of how it was acquired as long as it was through legal means.

He noted that many youth had no patience because when their business was not showing any results, they abandoned it, citing that in business, one had to struggle until they achieved their goals.

Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Culture Development’s, district coordinator Mr Caiphas Kopelang said it was inspiring that the saloon was owned by a young Motswana.

He said when the President’s Day Competition started in 2017, the competition included hair dressing and at the moment they were looking for people who could coordinate hair dressing category.

During the official opening, Mr Chedza Molaga won P500 worth of airtime after plaiting her hair at Infinity Hair Saloon. Ends
