Replacement of vehicles remains challenge

Replacement of government's boarded vehicles is a countrywide challenge due to budgetary constraints.
Responding to a question at Ntlo Ya Dikgosi, the Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso said she was not certain of when BX 02 6443 Toyota Land Cruiser for Kisa which was boarded on July 2, 2009 would be replaced.
Ms Tshireletso said funds permitting, it would be considered along with other vehicles in the future, adding that in the meantime, Kisa was assisted by either Omaweneno or Maralaleng on weekly basis.
She was responding to a question from Kgosi Toto II of Kgalagadi Region who had asked the minister when the vehicle belonging to Kisa, which was boarded five years ago would be replaced. ENDS
