A budding Disco music artist, Morapedi Nkhukhu aims to revive it with his own genre called Reverse Disco.

The talented musician’s journey started at a tender age of 13 while growing up in Etsha inspired by South African Disco legend Dan Dantsha. 

Despite the emergence and growth of Amapiano, Nkhukhu has been making waves in the music industry with his disco tunes.

In an interview, he explained his love for disco music, which started at a young age when he discovered his talent for singing and performing.

 Nkhukhu has honed his skills and developed a unique style that captivates audiences.

“I have come up with my own genre called Reverse Disco. New ideas for my songs come from day to day experience around me,” he said

Nkhukhu has not only made a name for himself as an artist but also as an entrepreneur. He is the proud owner of two thriving companies; Big T Production and Events Management, and Bullet Debt Collection Agency and Private Investigation.

With Big T Production and Events Management, Nkhukhu has created a platform for local artistes to showcase their talent and gain exposure. 

He organises and manages music events, providing a stage for emerging artistes to shine. His dedication to supporting the local music scene has earned him respect and admiration from artistes and fans alike.

Bullet Debt Collection Agency and Private Investigation demonstrates Nkhukhu's entrepreneurial spirit and determination.

“The passion I have for music is the one that motivates me to keep on pushing and create new music. Also I have a very supportive wife who helps me to sail smoothly even during times of creative drought,” he said.

 Nkhukhu has also shared stage with renowned artistes such as Culture Spears and such collaborations have further elevated his status in the industry and opened doors to exciting opportunities.

Despite his success, Nkhukhu remains humble and grateful for the support he has received throughout his journey.

He acknowledged the influence of his role model, Dan Ntshanda, whose music and legacy continue to inspire him.

As Nkhukhu's music career continues to flourish, he hopes to inspire other young artistes to pursue their dreams fearlessly, believing that with passion, dedication, and a strong work ethic, they can achieve their goals. Ends
