Therefore, he said DMHT in collaboration with environmental department had instituted an indoor residual spraying in all villages in the sub district. The team is currently in Bobonong and the exercise is expected to be completed on January 31.

Meanwhile, Dr Rubanga hinted that the sub district was compounded by of shortage of staff especially doctors whom he said declined to work in the area. “We are short of a doctor to cover Borotsi catchment area which includes Borotsi clinic, Mabeleng, Lepokole and Molalatau health posts” he said.

Dr Rubanga said DHMT had arranged that a doctor either from Bobonong Primary Hospital or Semolale clinic should assist the Borotsi area. As for Mathathane clinic, he said the doctor was on maternity leave and was expected to resume duty on March 31. ENDS
